Πρόκειται για πόλη, η οποία βρίσκεται στα νοτιοδυτικά του Καμερούν, που αποτελεί το πεδίο αποσχιστικής δράσης. Κατά τον ίδιο αξιωματούχο, ένοπλοι άνοιξαν πυρ στο σχολείο.
Την περασμένη χρονιά, αξιωματούχοι κατηγόρησαν τους αυτονομιστές για την απαγωγή δεκάδων μαθητών. Οι αυτονομιστές αρνήθηκαν τις κατηγορίες.
